Two small plates for breakfast, a slice of cake, a starter or as a side plate for bread and butter next to the main plate. They are dishwasher safe and can also go in the oven, for instance to keep something warm. So you use them every day.
The plates are made of terracotta, with a green glaze, a rounded rim and a soft finish. The balanced proportions give them a solid, calm feel. The green is soft and natural, and goes beautifully with wood, linen and wild flowers on the table.
Danish brand Hay's Barro collection brings the warmth and simplicity of terracotta to the table. Barro means clay, referring to an age-old tradition. Combine the small plates with the large ones or with the cups from the range.
