Two small plates for breakfast, a sandwich at lunch, a slice of cake or a starter. They are also handy as a bread plate next to a larger plate, or for serving tapas and cheese. A size you use every day.
The glossy burgundy colour gives the plates a deep, warm look that goes beautifully with other shades from the Barro collection. The plates are made of terracotta in Portugal, with a subtle raised rim that is both practical and attractive. They are dishwasher and oven safe.
Portuguese designer Rui Pereira created Barro for Hay, with soft, stable shapes that are pleasant to use. Combine these plates with the bowls and dishes from the range, or mix different colours for a lively table.
