Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all sales made through the MATRIKS website. Purchases made outside the webshop, such as orders placed by email and paid by bank transfer, are also subject to these terms and conditions. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

MATRIKS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version applicable on the date of your order will always apply.

1. Orders

• You must be 18 years or older to place an order.
• Products can be added to your shopping cart and purchased through our webshop. You can create an account or log in using your existing account details. You can also provide a different delivery address.
• Once your payment has been completed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
• By placing an order, you make an offer to MATRIKS to purchase the selected products under these terms and conditions. MATRIKS reserves the right to refuse this offer if:
  • the product is unavailable, or
  • the listed price proves to be incorrect.
    In this case, you will be contacted by email and your order may be cancelled.
• Special orders can also be requested by email and paid by bank transfer.

2. Delivery

• MATRIKS delivers to the address provided by you and aims to deliver within 4 business days, or within the delivery time specified on the product page.
• In the event of delays, MATRIKS will inform you as soon as possible. MATRIKS cannot be held liable for delays in delivery.
• Delivery is available to various European countries.

3. Prices

• All prices include Belgian VAT and exclude shipping costs.
• Shipping costs vary by country and are charged when:
  • your order is below €100 for deliveries within Belgium, or
  • the parcel has an exceptionally large volume.
• Any applicable shipping costs are automatically displayed at checkout.
• For intra-Community supplies, a 0% VAT rate applies provided that you supply a valid VAT number.
• Current shipping costs by country are listed below. Free shipping thresholds are based on the order value excluding shipping costs.

4. Right of Withdrawal (Distance Sales)

• You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.
• Exceptions: personalised or discounted products cannot be returned.
• To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by email and include your order reference.
• After confirmation, you will receive a return form with further instructions. You then have 3 days to return the product unopened and in its original packaging.
• Refunds are issued after the returned product has been received and inspected, excluding shipping costs incurred by MATRIKS.
• MATRIKS may refuse a refund if the product or its packaging has been damaged by you.

5. Payment

• Payment can be made via Shopify Payments, bank transfer or gift voucher.
• Your order will be shipped once payment has been received and confirmed.

6. Complaints

• Loss and damage during transport are the responsibility of MATRIKS.
• Other complaints, such as defective or incorrectly delivered products, must be reported by email within 14 days of receipt, including your order reference.
• Once your return has been accepted, you may return the product within 3 days.
• MATRIKS will then refund the full amount, including shipping costs.

7. Liability

• Despite the care taken in maintaining the content and operation of this website, MATRIKS cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the website.
• MATRIKS does not guarantee that all information will always be complete or error-free and reserves the right to amend it at any time.
• MATRIKS cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the products supplied.

8. Extended Producer Responsibility

• MATRIKS complies with the applicable Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations for packaging.
• For household packaging and graphic papers placed on the French market, MATRIKS is registered with ADEME under the Unique Identifier (IDU): FR542710_01DVKC.

9. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

• These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
• Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp.
