The largest bowl in the Barro range, in natural terracotta, for a family salad, a big dish of pasta or a pile of fruit in the middle of the table. Thanks to the generous size, everyone can easily help themselves. On a sideboard it also works as a fruit bowl.
The bowl is made in Portugal from terracotta, with the warm, earthy colour of the clay itself. It can go in the dishwasher and in the oven, so a bake for a full table fits right in. The rolled rim and balanced shape make it sturdy and nice to hold.
Portuguese designer Rui Pereira designed Barro for the Danish brand Hay, as a tribute to the tradition of red clay. Combine this bowl with smaller bowls or oval dishes from the same collection, in natural or in one of the glazed colours, for a table with a character of its own.
