The large Barro bowl in pistachio, for a full salad, a dish of pasta or a mountain of potatoes for the whole party. Put it in the middle of the table and let everyone help themselves. Between meals it also makes a lovely fruit bowl on the counter.
It is made in Portugal from sturdy terracotta with a glossy pistachio glaze that brings freshness and character to the table. The bowl is safe in the dishwasher and the oven. Thanks to its rolled rim and soft finish, it is both lovely to look at and pleasant to hold.
Portuguese designer Rui Pereira created the Barro range for Hay, translating the tradition of terracotta into a contemporary form. Combine this bowl with the smaller version in the same colour, or with oval dishes and plates from the collection.
