Shades is a lighting collection designed by George Sowden in 2022. Sowden is a British designer based in Milan and one of the co-founders of the Memphis Design Movement . In 2010, he founded Sowden , his own brand.

Characteristic of the Shades lamps is the unique design in combination with a playful color palette. Both functional and aesthetic, the lamp has three settings and is therefore dimmable.

Furthermore, it can be used wirelessly and charged with a USB cable or it can be used with the battery. The latter option is provided for places where there is no electricity connection nearby. All parts are replaceable. In short, a thoroughly thought-out design!
