Sowden

Sowden is the design label of British designer George Sowden, who has been working in Milan since the 1970s and was a co-founder of the influential Memphis design movement. The brand develops objects where color, form, and functionality come together.

A key part of the collection is the rechargeable lamps from the Shades series. These portable lamps combine an aluminum base with a silicone shade that softly diffuses the light. They are wireless, dimmable, and easily recharged via USB.
