A small, low bowl for olives, a dip, sauce or yoghurt. Understated and white, so even small things look neat in it, from a handful of nuts to a scoop of ice cream.
Studio Piet Boon designed Base for Serax as tableware that lasts for years: simple shapes, white porcelain and no unnecessary decoration. The small bowl is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Put a few side by side to share, or combine it with the larger low bowl and the low plates. At breakfast it is handy for jam or fruit, at aperitif time for tapenade and hummus. The white porcelain makes the colours of the food stand out. It is also handy as a dish for ice cream or a scoop of rice with a curry. Stack a few bowls in the cupboard and they take up little room.
