A large owl-shaped vase, 30 cm tall, for a generous bouquet, a few long branches or a bunch of dried flowers on a dining table or sideboard. With a diameter of 19.5 cm there is room for plenty of stems, and the vase stands firmly, even with heavy branches. On a large table or a long cabinet it really catches the eye.
Even without flowers, the owl works as a sculpture. Put it on a stack of books, in an alcove or by the entrance, where visitors see it straight away. It brings humour to a sleek interior and also fits in an eclectic room full of colour. The vase is made of stoneware in a deep aubergine colour, warm and slightly luxurious, with graphic details that draw the owl's eyes and feathers. Change the water every few days, rinse the vase with lukewarm water and let it dry well before putting it away.
The After Midnight collection came from the collaboration between Serax and the Italian fashion house Marni, known for its playful shapes, expressive details and rich colours. Combine this aubergine owl with the smaller blue or the large dark green version, and you have a little owl family on your sideboard.
