Oakwood Embers is part of a limited edition collaboration between Tom and Ann , a fusion of handmade scented candles and artisanal ceramics. For this edition, the candles are poured into ceramic mugs that Ann hand-turns and glazes one by one in her Antwerp studio.
The collection features three different glazes , each with its own unique color, texture, and character. Because it's a true craft, the mugs vary subtly in shape and finish. You don't know in advance which glaze you'll receive , making each candle a true collector's item. No two pieces are ever identical.
The candle itself is poured by Tom from 100% eco-friendly wax and, together with the mug, creates a warm, timeless object that enhances your interior. Once the candle burns out, the mug gets a second life as a coffee cup, pen holder, or decorative item—sustainable, personal, and enduring.
Oakwood Embers offers a warm, inviting fragrance experience, but the heart of this product lies in the craftsmanship and collaboration between two generations of Matriks.
