This HK Living kilim is woven from one hundred percent wool in a deep brown, with subtle light stripes as its only decoration. The result is a warm, earthy rug with an understated look. Because a kilim is flat-woven, it lies thin on the floor and slides easily under furniture.
The size is versatile: large enough for a living room, compact enough for a smaller, cosy corner or bedroom. The brown colour gives a room a calm, dark base and goes with wood, leather and warm fabrics. The rug is handwoven. Treat stains locally.
This kilim is not a stock item and is not in our shop, so you cannot view it with us beforehand. We order it specially for you from HK Living and send it to you rolled up as soon as it arrives. Let us know if you have any questions.
Because a kilim has no pile, it is easy to keep clean and suits places with a lot of foot traffic. Turn it over now and then so it wears evenly. The dark colour is also forgiving of small everyday marks.
