HK Living Nienke Sikkema Candlestick Emerald M

The HK Living Nienke Sikkema Candlestick Emerald M is composed of stacked, gemstone-like shapes in deep emerald green glass. The sculptural design plays with light and weight: the candlestick feels sturdy and solid, yet appears surprisingly light due to the transparency of the glass.

During the day, the green glass catches the natural light, creating ever-changing reflections. As soon as you light a candle, this effect becomes even more pronounced, and the glass spreads a warm glow throughout the room. Even without a candle, the candlestick remains a striking decorative object.

For this collection, HK Living collaborated with glass artist Nienke Sikkema, who is known for her play with form, light, and molten glass. The various objects from the collaboration are reminiscent of contemporary gemstones: heavy and tactile, yet clear and luminous at the same time.
