A small glass vase for a few loose stems, a sprig of eucalyptus or a single dahlia from the garden. It fits on the dining table, a bedside table or on a windowsill where the light can shine through it. Without flowers it is a lovely object in its own right, next to a stack of books or a candle.
The glass has a warm amber colour that glows in daylight and immediately makes a room feel warmer. The organic, slightly irregular shape gives the vase a soft, natural look. Against a white wall or among neutral tones the amber stands out beautifully, and next to other coloured glass it creates a playful group.
HK Living is an Amsterdam brand known for its idiosyncratic mix of retro and contemporary design. The Gleam vases come in several colours and shapes that look good together. Rinse the vase by hand, as it shouldn't go in the dishwasher.
