Two 24 cl lungo mugs for anyone who drinks a long coffee in the morning, or a cup of tea with a splash of milk in the afternoon. They are 8.1 cm tall and 8.9 cm wide, a pleasant size that sits well in the hand without feeling bulky. With two pieces you always have a second cup ready for your partner or a friend who drops by.
The mugs are made of stoneware with the reactive Symbolist glaze, which develops its own colour gradient in the kiln. That means no two mugs are exactly alike. They are safe in the dishwasher and the microwave, so you can simply reheat a coffee that has gone cold.
For the 70s Ceramics collection, HK Living drew inspiration from art movements such as expressionism and abstract shapes. Set the mugs on the matching saucers from the same series, or mix them with another glaze for a cheerful, mismatched coffee table.
