Røros Tweed is a Norwegian company known for its high-quality wool blankets, clothing and interior textiles since 1940. Based in the historic town of Røros, the company uses pure Norwegian wool from local sheep breeds, known for their quality and durability. Their designs combine traditional craftsmanship with modern Scandinavian design, resulting in timeless and functional products such as blankets, cushions and garments. Lynild is Norwegian for "firestitch" - a textile pattern that dates all the way back to the Middle Ages. Anderssen & Voll revives this traditional pattern with vibrant colours in a pattern inspired by mountain landscapes.

The Lynild series was first launched in 2012 and this year designers Anderssen & Voll wanted to add new colours to an old favourite. When the series was first launched, the inspiration for the colour palette came from racing and sportswear. This time around, the designers took a softer approach to the colour palette, resulting in two new colour versions, sage green and sky blue.
