General terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all sales through the MATRIKS website. Purchases made outside of the webshop (via email request and bank transfer) are also covered. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

MATRIKS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The version in effect on the date of your order always applies.

1. Order

  • To place an order you must be 18 years or older .

  • You can add products to your cart and checkout through our webshop. You can create an account or log in with your existing account details. You can also enter a different delivery address.

  • After completing your payment, you will receive a confirmation email .

  • By placing an order, you make an offer to MATRIKS to purchase the selected products under these terms and conditions. MATRIKS reserves the right to refuse this offer if:

    • the product is not available, or

    • the stated price appears to be incorrect.
      In this case you will be contacted by email and your order can be cancelled.

  • Special orders can also be requested by email; payment is then made via bank transfer.

2. Delivery

  • MATRIKS delivers to the address you provide and aims to deliver within 4 working days or within the delivery time specified for the product.

  • In the event of delays, MATRIKS will inform you promptly. MATRIKS cannot be held liable for any delays.

  • Delivery is possible throughout Europe .

3. Prices

  • All prices include Belgian VAT and exclude shipping costs .

  • Shipping costs vary by country and are only charged when:

    • your order is less than €100 (for deliveries in the Benelux), or

    • the package has an exceptionally large volume.

  • Any shipping costs will be automatically displayed at checkout.

  • For intra-Community supplies, the 0% VAT rate applies, provided you provide a valid VAT number.

  • Current shipping costs per country can be found below. Free shipping amounts are based on the order amount excluding shipping costs.

4. Right of withdrawal (distance selling)

  • You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receipt.

  • Exceptions: Personalized or discounted products cannot be returned.

  • Please notify us of your cancellation by email (with order reference).

  • After confirmation, you'll receive a return form with instructions. You then have three days to return the product unopened and in its original packaging .

  • Refunds will be made after receipt and inspection of the return, excluding the shipping costs incurred by MATRIKS .

  • MATRIKS may refuse a refund if the product or packaging has been damaged by you.

5. Payment

  • You can pay via Shopify Payments , bank transfer , or with a gift certificate .

  • The order will be shipped once payment is received and confirmed.

6. Complaints

  • Loss and damage in transit are the responsibility of MATRIKS.

  • Other complaints (defective or incorrectly delivered) must be reported by email within 14 days of receipt (with order reference).

  • After acceptance, you can return the product within 3 days .

  • MATRIKS will then refund the full amount, including shipping costs.

7. Liability

  • Despite the care taken to ensure the content and operation of the website, MATRIKS cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the website.

  • MATRIKS does not guarantee that the information is always complete or error-free and may change it at any time.

  • MATRIKS cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect use of supplied products .

8. Applicable law & competent court

  • These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Belgian law .

  • All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Antwerp .
