A large round 38 cm serving bowl for a salad for the whole table, a dish of pasta, a pile of grilled vegetables or fruit after a long summer meal. At 6 cm high, it is deep enough for dishes with sauce or dressing, and wide enough to arrange everything beautifully. Place it in the centre of the table and let everyone help themselves.
When it is not in use, simply leave it on a dining table, kitchen island or sideboard. Fill it with lemons, pomegranates or a few artichokes, and it becomes a colourful still life. It is large enough to hold a few books or a candle too. The bowl is made of glazed porcelain in Blue Haze, a soft, calm blue with a refined sheen. The glaze is deep and even, so every dish looks fresh on it. Wash it by hand or carefully in the dishwasher, and do not stack heavy pieces on top, so the rim stays perfect.
Matias Moellenbach is a Danish design label known for timeless shapes and striking colours in glass and porcelain. The Big O collection comes in several colours, and Blue Haze pairs beautifully with Orange for a playful contrast on the table.
