A stoneware coffee cup in the Tide glaze, reminiscent of sea and sand: blue-green tones over a lighter, natural base. The classic shape lets the glaze do the work.
The cup holds about 230 ml, enough for a generous coffee or a second, stronger cup in the afternoon. For the 70s Ceramics collection, HK Living took inspiration from the art movements of the 1970s, with expressive glazes and a clear texture. Tide is one of the livelier glazes in the series.
Because each cup is finished by hand, the glaze runs differently every time. Small differences in colour and thickness are part of the product. Tide combines well with the calmer glazes in the range, and the cup can simply go in the dishwasher and microwave.
