HK Living Shell Bowl Coral

A large 41 by 24 cm bowl shaped like a shell, for a seafood platter, a salad, grilled vegetables or a pile of fruit in the middle of the table. It is 8.5 cm deep, enough for a dish with some sauce or a portion of mussels. At a summer party or a long table with friends, it instantly becomes the centrepiece.

When you are not using it, simply place it on a sideboard or cabinet as a decorative object. The soft curves and relief of the shell catch the eye, even when it is empty. Put in a few shells or starfish you brought back from a beach holiday, and you have a little piece of the coast at home. The bowl is made of stoneware in the warm Coral colour, a soft coral pink reminiscent of the sea. It is safe in the dishwasher and the microwave, which makes it handy for every day. Rinse it straight after shellfish or fish so no smells linger.

For the Shell collection, HK Living drew inspiration from the organic shapes and textures of shells and other sea life. Combine this large bowl with the smaller Shell serving dishes from the same series, or with simple white tableware, against which the coral looks especially beautiful.
