Anywhere a cord gets in the way, a rechargeable lamp comes in handy: on a desk without a socket nearby, on a high bookshelf or on a side table in the middle of the room. This Mono gives a focused light that is just enough to read, write or finish a puzzle, without lighting up the whole space.
The name Roest Sky says it all: a shade in a warm rust brown on a base in soft sky blue. It is the most outspoken combination in the range and goes beautifully with terracotta, cognac leather and old wooden furniture. The blue lightens the whole, so the lamp never looks heavy, not even in a small room.
Fine Lumens was founded in 2018 and works with independent designers for its lamps; the Mono comes from Notion Studio. It dims with a single button and charges via USB-C. Take it out to the terrace for a glass of wine at dusk, then put it back on the bedside table. A lovely gift for anyone with their own corner for reading or working.
