A compact oyster knife for opening oysters safely and easily, at home or at the table. The short, sturdy blade slides between the shells and prises them open without breaking, and the handle gives you the grip you need. It's also handy for scallops and other shellfish.
The handle is smoothly finished boxwood, a hard, light wood with a fine grain that sits pleasantly in the hand and doesn't slip. The blade is stainless steel. Together they give the knife a traditional, handcrafted look.
Pallarès Solsona is a family business from Solsona, in Catalonia, that has been making knives since 1917. Wash the knife by hand and dry it straight away, so the wood stays beautiful. A lovely gift for an oyster lover, together with a bottle of bubbles.
