It was the Japanese sense of refinement and imperfect perfection that inspired top chef Sergio Herman to create the Inku tableware. A tableware with clear references to shell shapes, blossoms and the abstract structures of nature. “With the Inku tableware, we can not only dress the plate beautifully, but also provide entire tables with blossoms in ceramic,” says Herman , who uses the tableware in Le Pristine brasserie in Antwerp. “I see it as our task not only to inspire people with culinary delights, but I want to do the same with table decoration.” To make that picture completely imperfect, the collection is supplemented with fine glassware.
From wine glasses to champagne coupes to water and cocktail glasses. Some of them in a special edition in ribbed glass, where the delicate folds like the baleen of a whale gradually fade towards the edge of the glass.
